Scott Sumption is an Executive Producer who has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies during his 20-year career. In 2014, Mr. Sumption created Mind Over Madness, a full-service experiential marketing and production company. His clients include Caesars Entertainment for their truck tour and Super Bowl LVII activation, IBM Think, SKII’s Tokyo Olympic augmented reality experience and three separate pop up retail experiences in Tokyo and San Francisco; WSJ Magazine for their annual Innovator Awards; HP Inc. for their global re-launch and Day 1 festivities; Digitas Health on behalf of clients Merck and Shire Pharmaceuticals for drug launches; The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership for their annual Make it in Brooklyn conference along beauty and tech companies Maybelline and Samsung.

Prior to Mind Over Madness, Mr. Sumption was the VP of Production at MKTG Inc., an experiential marketing agency, where he led the New York production department and acted as ExecutiveProducer for brands including Nike, Diageo, Nestle Waters, Beats by Dr. Dre, The NFL and MSNBC. Under his direction, MKTG developed some of its most notable productions, including the construction of a football stadium in Times Square for Nike; an award-winning custom mobile greenhouse and garden for MSNBC; and a one-of-a-kind brand launch featuring water, aerialists and 3D projection forNestle Waters. An entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Sumption ran his own consultancy before joining MKTG, working with companies including MTV Networks, The WallStreet Journal, Red Bull Records, Tongal and Digitas. He has also served asVice President, Group Manager of Ketchum Entertainment Marketing’s New York office. While at Ketchum, Mr. Sumption was responsible for talent negotiation, film, TV and music partnerships with brands including Frito Lay, DPSG, Cadbury Gums, Kodak, Best Buy, Absolut, Clorox and Huggies. Prior to Ketchum, Mr. Sumption worked at the Alliance Agency (a division of Grey Global Group) as Senior Director and Producer working with brands including Old Spice, Secret, Pantene, CoverGirl, Re:volve Apparel, Tanqueray, Clairol, KIA Motors, Schick and Hasbro.

Mr. Sumption began his career in 1997 with the Warner Music Group as a Marketing Manager at Atlantic Records and later, London-Sire Records, where he worked with several developing and Grammy Award-winning artists. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University.
